Dr. Rhonda Patrick

Bio

Dr. Rhonda Patrick earned her Ph.D in biomedical science from University of Tennessee Health Science Centre and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Patrick went on to study the links between Vitamin D and serotonin production in the brain.

Currently, Dr. Patrick is researching how vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids effect metabolism, inflammation, aging and disease prevention.

In addition to laboratory research, Dr. Patrick has gained a large following in the health and wellness community by regularly appearing on prominent educational podcasts, as well as her own highly reputable podcast FoundMyFitness.

In her podcasts, she presents the latest science-based research and findings on various health topics which include optimal nutrition, disease prevention, aging and longevity. Practical and actionable insights are presented, making Dr. Patrick’s information immensely beneficial and accessible to everyone from academia to the general public.
